Berkshires House II

Photos by Ann McCallum, Andy Burr, R. Carlson, and from press articles

Renovation of an 18th Century barn, and new garage and guest house.  The big, dark, mysterious space of the barn was very appealing to us.  In order to preserve these qualities we chose materials to preserve the feeling of the original barn: timber beams, cherry trim, black steel stairs, and beaded board stained a mossy green. The plastered walls are painted in the same moss green.
